Class 18 A carton formed from a blank as shown, has a self-locking bottom structure formed by folding in flaps 7, 6, 8 and 9 in that order and pressing inwardly, when the tongue 19 of the flap 9 enters the gap 15 in the flap 7. To complete the closure, the flaps are allowed to return to the bottom plane. Elements 10-13 strengthen the rim.
