Abstract

854,780. Twist-tubes &c. SCRAGG & SONS Ltd., E. June 3, 1958 [June 11, 1957], Nos. 18307/57. Class 120(2). A false-twisting device comprises two pairs of rollers 1, 2, and 16, 17, each forming a similar cusp between its rollers, and a roller 3 which deflects a yarn 12 running between the cusps, and being rotated by its frictional engagement with the surfaces of the rollers, from the straight line therebetween. The rollers are rotated in the same direction from a belt 9 driving throughpulleys 8, 5, 10 and 11 and belt 6. Specification 821,460 is referred to.
