783,492. Driving twist tubes in textile spinning &c. machines. UBBELOHDE, L. May 21, 1953 [March 25, 1953], No. 7582/57. Divided out of 783,491. Class 120(2) In a false-twisting apparatus, twist tubes 14 are rotated by opposed movement of two closely spaced runs of an endless belt 15 positioned around a roller 25 on the surface of which one run is supported. In the modifications of Figs. 2 and 3, superposed groups of twist tubes are rotated between a driving roller 25 or rollers 25a, 25b, and 25c.and the belt 15. An indefinite number of rollers such as 25 may be used with the disposition shown, or superposed.
