Abstract

850,232. Containers. WYATT & CO. Ltd. Oct. 9, 1957 [Oct. 9, 1956], No. 30715/56. Class 66. A container for liquids comprises a handle 4 secured to the container top 1 and formed with an angled tubular member 9, 13 for pouring out the contents of the container. Holes formed in the top 1 have surrounding recesses 2, 3 respectively and the handle 4 is formed at one end with a part 5 having a circular shoulder 6 below which is a tubular portion 7 fitting into one of the holes and spun over on to a fibre washer 8. At the other end of the handle portion 9 of the tubular member has shoulder 10 below which a projecting portion 11 fits into the other hole in the top 1 and is spun over on to a fibre washer 12. In the portion 13 of the tubular member is secured a pouring tube 14 having an external screw at its outer end to receive a screwthreaded cap 15. The container top has a closable filling hole, Fig. 1 (not shown). The handle and tubular member may be integrally cast.
