A pouring device 11 of synthetic resin for insertion in the mouth of a bottle or can has a lip 18 adapted for drinking. The device may be of triangular cross-section. Figs. 3À5 (not shown) or of polygonal cross-section. A hole to allow air to enter the can may be provided in the lower end of the device and /or in the can.
