Abstract

760,291. Stoppers. METAL BOX CO., Ltd. May 25, 1955 [Sept. 28, 1954], No. 28023/54. Class 125(3). A cylindrical aluminimn container 1 has its end 2 inturned to form an obtuse angle with the sides and is provided with a groove 3 the container being closured by a rubber or polyethylene plug 4 with annular skirt 5, resilient flange 6 and annular notch 7 into which is inserted the inturned end 2, a tamperproof metal capsule being placed over the plug and having a cram 9 engaging a rim 8 on the plug flange to press down the flange to overlie end 2 and a skirt 10 rolled into the groove 3 on the container.
