848,207. Jib cranes. FLADMARK, T. Nov. 29, 1956 [Nov. 29, 1955], No. 36589/56. Addition to 825,218. Class 78 (4). The crane of the parent Specification has an additional pulley N, Fig. 1, mounted between the pulleys E, F, to deflect the load rope G and so prevent it from raising the jib when the jib is luffed steeply. A further pulley M may be provided, and this pulley may be double, with a corresponding double pulley at the jib head, the load rope then having three runs between the jib head and the bracket D.
