845,887. Centrifugal spinning &c. of threads. RUMANIAN MINISTRY FOR LIGHT INDUSTRY, FIRST DEPUTY MINISTER OF. Oct. 16, 1956 [June 27, 1956], No. 31501/56. Class 120 (2). The winding of thread from the inside of a yarn holder in a centrifugal spinning or twisting machine on to a bobbin carried by the thread guide is initiated by allowing the thread guide to fall freely. During the fall, turns of thread are wound on the bobbin. The cardboard bobbin or tube 3 is carried on the thread guide 2 which may be uncoupled from an element 4 of the traverse mechanism by a hand lever 1 so that the guide 2 and tube 3 fall freely. When all the thread has been transferred, the guide 2 is raised until held by a hook 6 whereupon the full bobbin may be replaced by an empty one; pressure on a knob 7 allows the guide 2 to fall to operative position. The hand levers 1 of a group of thread holders 5 may be operated by a common rod 8. Specifications 845,883, 845,885 and 845,888 are referred to.
