837,312. Compressors. LICENTIAPATENTVERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. Dec. 5, 1956 [Dec. 7, 1955], No. 37164/56. Class 8(1). [Also in Group XXXV] A compressor driven by an electromagnet 1 ... 6 comprises a piston 8 acting on medium entering through a suction channel 14 and being compressed through an intermediate member 9 into a discharge channel 16<SP>1</SP> valves 13, 11 and 151 being provided to close the respective passages. A certain minimum pressure is maintained in the member 9 to reduce, during starting, high amplitudes of piston oscillation.
