834,165. Making Inductors. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS Inc. April 2, 1958 [April 5, 1957], No. 10651/58. Class 83 (2). [Also in Group XXXV] In making the laminated core of an inductor, the laminations are made from continuous magnetic material by first feeding a length of material into a bending brake, bending it at right angles to form lamination 13, cutting it and repeating this process to form loops of progressively increasing size. The increase in the length of the strip used for each lamination is such that on assembly the laminations fit closely together.
