830,694. Lamp-holders. BARRINGTON PRODUCTS (LEICESTER) Ltd. Feb. 10, 1958 [Feb. 12, 1957], No. 4763/57. Class 38 (1). A holder for a screw-cap lamp comprises a resilient body 1, e.g. of nylon having moulded therein a mounting bracket 5 - and receiving in a tubular socket portion 2 an outer contact in the form of a split sleeve 12 having an interrupted thread 13 and an integral terminal stem 11 which passes through a slot in the base of the body and is then bent over. A central spring plunger contact 18 is also mounted in the base of the body. On insertion of a lamp cap the split sleeve wraps itself round the outside of the cap.
