826,256. Lawn-mowers. WOLSELEY ENGINEERING Ltd., and DRAKE, R. S. Dec. 19, 1957 [Sept. 20, 1956], No. 28736/56. Class 6(2). [Also in Group XXXI] A normally manually propelled machine M, such as a lawn mower, is provided with a divided horizontal drive shaft having sockets 15, 16 which can be spread apart for coupling to the motorised shaft 11 of an agricultural implement. The latter is also supported by a prop (not shown) located at the rear of the machine which has a chain and sprocket transmission enclosed by a guard 14 and driven by the divided shaft. Holes 19 in the latter are engaged by pins (not shown) which are also passed through holes 20 in the shaft 11. Specification 714,394 is referred to.
