Class 120(2) In a spindle-mounting having a rotating driving-member which can be coupled to a member associated with the spindle blade, the latter member takes the form of a support on which the driving-member rotates, and the driving and supporting members can be dismounted and mounted as a single unit. In Fig. 1, the supporting member is bell-shaped with a central bore, it is coupled to the blade by a tapered portion 7 and to the driving-member 12 spring-urged members 9, bearings being provided at 14, 15. The couplings 9 can be disengaged by the operation of webshaped members 16 moving in oblique slideways. In other forms, both sets of bearings are above the weel. In one of these the base of the member 11 is tapered throughout its length to receive a tapered blade: in the other the blade is a short pin projecting upwardly into a recess in the member 11 which has an upward extension to engage a bobbin holder. In a final form, the bearings are of ball and needle type respectively and are disposed in the region of the whorl: the blade is tapered and projects through a tapered bore of the member 11.
