[Also in Groups XXIV and XXVII] In a coupling for controlling the relative angular positions of two coaxial-shafts in dependence on their speed of rotation, for controlling the timing of the fuel injection in internal combustion engines, and of the kind employing two or more centrifugal weights 8 co-operating with eccentrics each weight engages a pin 7 eccentrically mounted on a single associated adjuster eccentric 4 and this adjuster eccentric forms part of the driving connection between the two relatively adjustable members of the coupling, the adjuster eccentric being mounted for rotation in one member 3 and carrying through the medium of a compensating eccentric 5, mounted within the adjuster eccentric, a pin 6 engaging the other member 1 of the coupling, this pin being separate from that engaged by the centrifugal weights.
