811,882. Electrodeposition of chromium. KAMPSCHULTE, H., and FARFSING, P. Oct. 30, 1956 [Jan. 27, 1956], No. 33077/56. Class 41. Chromium is electrodeposited from an aqueous chromic acid solution containing sodium benzene disulphonate. The bath may also contain silicofluoride as by the addition of hydrofluosilicic acid or an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal silicofluoride. The additions to the chromic acid solution may be present in excess of their bath solubility. Air agitation may be employed. Specifications 697,786 and 711,468 are referred to.
