Abstract

Class 116 In apparatus for dispensing aerated liquids from a bulk supply through a delivery orifice, a receptacle is supported in a tilted position so that the liquid impinges on its side wall at a small angle and the minimum of effervescence is caused. As shown, the receptacle 5 is supported below the orifice 3 on a pivoted forked arm 1 which is spring-loaded at 4 so that it is in the position shown when empty but becomes upright under the weight of the liquid. Guide arms 6 fixed to the dispensing apparatus engage the ends of the fork 1 and guide receptacles fed down a shoot 8 on to the support 1. In alternative arrangements (not shown). the guides 6 may be attached to the fork arms or may be replaced by upwardly inclined end portions to the fork arms. The spring 4 may be replaced by any other form of spring or counterbalance.
