Abstract

801,355. Sheet-delivery apparatus. RITZERFELD, W., and RITZERFELD, G. March 2, 1955, No. 16476/58. Divided out of 801,353. Class 100(1) A sheet delivery device for a rotary dup- Licating machine comprises two delivery members, one co-operating resiliently with the other so as to deliver a printed sheet at a higher speed than that at which it is printed into one of a plurality of receivers. The copy sheets are printed between a printing drum 1 and impression roller 2 and delivered between a roller 31 and a plurality of resiliently mounted rollers 32. The roller 31 is driven by a pulley 33 and a belt 34 at a higher peripheral speed than that of the drum 1. The printed sheet is delivered into a channel formed by guides 35, 36 and is then selectively diverted into one of a plurality of receivers 50-53 by a link system, 37, 38, 39 and by levers 41-46 which serve to turn deflector plates 47, 48, 49 to deflect the sheet from the guide into the selected container.
