Abstract

469,309. Printing-machines. DRESDEN-LEIPZIGER SCHNELLPRESSEN-FABRIK AKT.-GES., and LANG, K. T. April 5, 1937, No. 9592. [Classes 100 (i) and 100 (ii)] Rotary machines ; delivery apparatus.-A rotary printing-machine in which the control station B is situated between the printing-mechanism A and the delivery mechanism C is fitted with an auxiliary sheet-delivery device 10 by means of which the operator can cause a specimen sheet 11 to be delivered upon a table 12 extending into the control station B, the sheet being delivered with its printed side up and in proper direction for examination by the printer. The sheets are normally fed from a pile 1 to an intaglio couple 4, 5, and then over a drying drum 6 to a conveyer 7 which passes under the floor board 8. From the conveyer 7 the sheets can be delivered either side up as required by grippers on a. chain 9 which is driven in the direction of the arrow a or the arrow b.
