Abstract

796,435. Container closures. LUNDMARK, J. F. S. Dec. 30, 1955 [March 21, 1955], No. 37506/55. Class 125(3). The closure cap 4 of a container has sliding surfaces 5, a locking groove 6 and stop shoulders 7 which co-operate with locking shoulders 2 on the container mouth 1, a combined sealing member and spring 8 of synthetic resin being inserted in the cap so that the cap must be depressed axially to disengage shoulders 2 from grooves 6 before the cap can be turned. In a modification the member 8 forms the top of the cap and in a further modification, Fig. 8, the cap has a central pin 13 extending through a hole 14 in a foam rubber disc 12 and into an indentation 15 in a sealing disc 11.
