Class 64(1) In a hot air stove, a main air heating chamber 51 covers a fire box 36 and is in turn covered by a secondary combustion chamber 62, the chamber 51 being supplied at one end with air and leading at its other end to a plenum chamber 68 fitted with hot air ducts 70 Air enters the stove, for example from a recirculating duct and a duct connected to a source of fresh air, through passages 12, 13 and flows through openings, such as 23, to the space around the fire box 36 before entering the chamber 51 through a pair of L- shaped openings 54, 55. The products of combustion pass through a channel 57 to the chamber 62 and leave the stove through pipe 76, extending through a projection 66 of the chamber 51, and pipes 78, 79, 80. Coal, wood, oil, or gas may be used and the air flow may be controlled.
