An example describes a cellulose aceto-butyrate film with a front photographic layer and a backing layer having 25 grams silica per 100 grams gelatine. , The Provisional Specification includes references to the use of other inert particle materials such as titanium dioxide, barium sulphate, magnesium oxide, china clay, starch, hardened gelatine grains and ureaformaldehyde resins for the same purpose.
