Class 98(2) Diazo-type material has a support comprising a base of paper, fabric or other fibrous material having a surface treated to render it smooth, to which smooth surface is stuck a pre-formed film or foil of synthetic resin. The surface of the resin is then coated with a diazo sensitizing solution. The synthetic resin film may be of cellulose acetate (the surface of which may be saponified) or of polyethylene terephthalate.
