Abstract

790,459. Heating liauids. SCHIFF & STERN GES. July 10, 1956 [July 25, 1955], No. 21359/56. Class 64(1) [Also in Group XXVIII] Water heating apparatus comprises a water inlet chamber 1 concentrically surrounding a steam inlet chamber 2 having an axial steam jet-forming nozzle 5 which induces water through ducts 9 connecting the water chamber 1 with a mixing chamber 4 leading to a flared tube 7, the inwardly tapered end 11 of which forms with the surrounding end 10 of the steam chamber 2 a main annular steam-forming nozzle 12. The combined steam and water is discharged through a tube 14 to an accumulator 16.
