Class 71 [Also in Group XXIX] A stream of air or steam is directed axially into a cylindrical mixing chamber 10 through a nozzle 12, and meets a stream of sand or like material introduced through a passage 15, and the jet of sand &c. 22 ejected from the chamber is concentrated and maintained substantially concentric with the chamber axis by air drawn into the chamber, through circumferentially spaced passages 13 which converge towards the point where the chamber axis meets the axis of the passage 15.
