Abstract
784,441. Securing dynamo-electric machine cores. METROPOLITAN-VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. April 5, 1956 [May 16, 1955], No. 14106/55. Class 35. An assembly of stator laminµ is held in its frame by resilient bars extending axially between inwardly projecting ribs of the stator frame, the middle parts of the bars having projections engaging bars axially disposed on the outer periphery of the core pack. The centres of resilient bars 3 have flanges 8 gripping the sides of the bars 5 along the periphery of the pack and the ends of the bars are welded to the supporting rings 2. The width of bars 3 in the circumferential direction of the machine is greater than the radial thickness.
