Abstract

782,955. Rotary pumps. HANOMAG AKT.- GES. Aug. 30, 1955, No. 24809/55. Class 110(2). A Root's blower has a passage 9 in an end plate for communicating discharge pressure to shaft seals 5 to prevent bearing lubricant being sucked into the pumping chamber. The passage 9 is arranged so that it does not traverse the path of contact 13 of the rotors 4 and its ends communicate with recesses 11 which communicate with annular channels 10.
