Abstract
764,660. Fluid-pressure servomotor-control systems; valves. FOXBORO CO. Feb. 15, 1955 [Feb. 18, 1954], No. 4502/55. Addition to 740,238. Class 135. A valve according to the parent Specification is mounted in a casing 861 with the needle 385 coaxially disposed with respect to a bellows 378, and elastic fluid from a source 392 is applied directly through a passage 394 to the space on one side of the bellows (e.g. the inside) and, by way of a port 395, the tapered passage past the needle, and an opening 396, to the space on the other side of the bellows (e.g. the outside). The assembly may be incorporated in a fluid-pressure control system where, as a combined restrictor and capacity, it forms part of the means to give a derivative effect.
