Abstract

1392654 Pressure-regulating valves COMPTEURS SCHLUMBERGER 17 April 1972 [16 April 1971] 17646/72 Heading F2V A pressure regulator, preferably having a main valve member 15 controlled by a diaphragm 16, is provided with a damping device interconnecting the outlet 2 and the control chamber 1, the device comprising a tube 3 and a chamber 4 provided with a pair of check valves 5, 6 through one or the other of which fluid can flow between the chamber 1 and outlet 2 depending on whether the pressure at the outlet 2 falls or rises. The check valves are formed by elastic flaps 10, 12 or by spring-loaded balls. The chamber 4 may also have an aperture leading to the chamber 1 and provided with an elastic diaphragm having radial slits, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown).
