Abstract

1392114 Fluidic elements LEESONA CORP 25 July 1972 [26 July 1971] 34792/72 Heading G4P A fluidic AND gate comprises a chamber 22 divided in two by a diaphragm 28. Fluid applied to an inlet duct 42 which contains a restrictor 60 passes to the chamber via duct 20 and exits via exhaust duct 52, the pressure passing to a device connected to output duct 58 being exhaust pressure. When pressure is also applied to a second inlet duct 18 the diaphragm deflects to seat against flange 50. As flow from duct 20 to exhaust 52 is now prevented, the pressure in output duct 58 increases.
