A pressure-regulating device for a vesse B containing gas under pressure comprises a body I having a passageway 2, 3 therethrough of constant bore controlled by a diaphragm-operated needle valve 12 and an expansion chamber 17 having an outlet 20 controlled by a cock 19. Connected to the chamber 17 is a pressure gauge M, and a chamber 39, one wall of which is formed by the diaphragm 41. An increase in expansion chamber pressure tends to move the needle valve towards the passage restricting position against the action of a spring 48 seating on an adjustable ring 47.
