A device for ensuring that a pair of selfclosing doors reach the closed position in the correct order comprises a hinge 4 fixed to the lintel with one leaf horizontal and formed with or carrying a door-engaging plate divided into a part 14, to engage and stop the door 3 having the overlapping edge 22, and a part 12 to be engaged by the other door 2 and be lifted thereby to allow the door 3 to close after the door 2. A bracket 21 on the latter door maintains the support of the part 12. The door-engaging plate is adjusted by a bolt 16 on this plate passing through a slot in a bracket 18 secured to the fixing plate of the hinge 4 and carrying nuts above the bracket.
