945,209. Latch plates. G. E. W. LEWIN. April 4, 1962 [April 5, 1961], No. 13042/62. Heading E2A. A keeper plate for doors and the like comprises a mounting plate 4 having flange shaped means adapted to co-operate with a catch device mounted on the inside of the door 2 and stops 6 serving to limit the closing depth of the door or the like, said mounting plate having a centre hole formed as a transverse slot and having at least two other fixing holes. The embodiment shows three fixing holes 7, 8, 9 the centre one 9 being elongated for lightly initially fixing until the exact required position is determined, after which screws are fixed through the plain holes 7, 8.
