Abstract

1,036,317. Locks. BARBICAN LOCK & SAFE CO. Ltd. and S. W. FALLSHAW Feb. 22, 1965 [Nov. 22, 1963], No. 46274/63. Heading E2A. A device for blocking access to a key hole 14 on a door 10 comprises a member for embracing an edge of the door over a part of the length of the edge so as to be movable therealong and having a projection 19 by which the member can be locked against movement along the edge from the position in which it blocks access to the key hole 14. As shown, the projection 19 is apertured and co-operates with a staple 21, secured to the door, and to which the projection is secured by a padlock (not shown). In other arrangements, for double doors, Fig. 2 and 3 (not shown) the staple is provided on a second member embracing a part of the top or bottom edge and a part of a facing edge of the second door.
