Abstract
747,917. Magnetrons. BRITISHTHOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 18, 1954 [Oct. 14, 1953], No. 28351/53. Class 39 (1). A strapped multi-cavity magnetron has an output loop 4 terminating in two loops, one in each of a pair of adjacent cavities 9, 10. The loops are connected to adjacent anode vanes 11, 12 at 13 and 14. Oscillation is confined to the #-mode without exciting the n=1 mode.
