Abstract
744,788. Magnetrons. M-O VALVE CO., Ltd., and KETTLEWELL, E. June 2, 1954 [June 17; 1953], No. 16790/53. Class 39 (1). In a multi-cavity magnetron with double ring strapping 11, 12 at each end of the anode, each ring is broken at one place 14, 15 lying on the side of the anode away from the output coupling 8. The strap breaks are similarly located at each end of the anode on radii equally inclined to the plane of symmetry X-X introduced by the output coupling. The corresponding inner or outer straps at each end of the anode may be connected to the same or opposite set of anode segments. The output coupling may be a loop or waveguide.
