In a strapped multicavity magnetron which is tunable by adjusting the hollow member P with respect to the straps a, b, the member P is provided with a plurality of radial slots to prevent the circulation of induced currents. The planes of the slots are common with the planes of symmetry of the anode segments. The member P has annular protuberances S penetrating between the straps.
