Abstract

755,526. Magnetrons. SOC. GENERALE METALLURGIQUE CO., Ltd. Sept. 22, 1954 [Oct. 12, 1953], No. 28047/53. Class 39 (1). In a multi-cavity magnetron with axially spaced mode-locking ring straps 4, 7, an end strap 7 has a break 10 between a pair of adjacent segments 13, 14 to both of which it is electrically connected. The normal aperture in segment 14 is sealed at 15. The strap break extends from segment 13 to a position midway between the two segments. The strap break is preferably in the cavity opposite the output cavity 12.
