In air-heating or other gas-heating apparatus in which the gas is heated by a pulsatory or resonant-firing combustion chamber 1, the exhaust from the combustion chamber passes through an ejector 14 which sucks the gas to be heated through a chamber 2 around the combustion chamber. The ejector 14 is positioned downstream of a room or other space 12 to be heated. Several resonant firing combustion chambers may have separate ejectors arranged in parallel and connected to a common exhaust.
