739,062. Combs for tuft yarn spools. TEMPLETON & CO., Ltd., J. May 4, 1953 [June 6, 1952], No. 14298/52. Class 142(1) A comb for retaining tuft yarns in their correct order on a spool comprises a comb 3 with teeth 4 and a U-shaped cover 1 which is deformable as a spring and is secured to the comb by lugs 5, 6. Each lug has a slot 7, 8 to engage an end of the cover and the lug 5 has a projection 9 that engages a slot 2 in one end of the cover. Each end of the cover has a slot 2 so that either end may be fitted to the comb adjacent the lug 5. To fit the cover on to the comb, one end is entered in the slot 8, the cover is pressed down on to the comb and is slid along so that its other end enters the slot 7 and the projection 9 enters the slot 2.
