[Also in Division D1] An Axminster tuft yarn spool 10 has a solid plug 11 which is swaged into a shoulder 115 to grip the end plate 13. The bore 131 in the end plate 13 may have notches 132 which are filled by the swaging to prevent rotation of the plate and the plug 11 may be secured to the spool 10 by metal adhesive.
