747,044. Automatic bobbin changing in looms. VALENTIN PATENT-GES., and TEXTILMASCHINENFABRIK SCHWENNINGEN GES. Feb. 9, 1954 [Feb. 26, 1953], No. 3824/54. Class 142 (2). In a bobbin magazine comprising arcuate channels 2 down which the bobbins 14 are pushed by a spring- loaded arm (not shown) pressing on the uppermost one, the tips of the bobbins are kept at the same spacing as their heads by a chain 11 formed with recesses 13 in the links to receive the tips. A spring-loaded roller 17 keeps the chain in place at the mouth of the magazine, and a pawl 25 prevents backward movement of the chain.
