822,520. Yarn clearers. WANNER A. G. March 14, 1957, No. 8455/57. Class 120(2) A yarn clearer comprises two plates 1 and 2 each having an inclined edge 11 facing the direction of run-in of the yarn, the plates having recesses 8 and 9 to form a dust groove substantially parallel with the yarn path and one of them at least having recessed therein a knot deviation channel 11a starting at a point on the incline 11 lying above the dust groove and extending downwards in the direction of travel of the yarn to terminate in the dust groove. The plates are mounted on a holder 3 by bolt 4 and are kept spaced apart by spacer sheets 12.
