Abstract

735,754. Band clips. HARGREAVES, H. March 31, 1953 [March 21, 1952], No. 7295/52. Addition to 708,902, [Group IX]. Class 44. [Also in Group IX] A clip for securing a loom picker to a picking stick, comprises a wire cable 11 that passes through a hole in the picker and has its ends releasably secured to a bridge piece 15, and a screw 22 that engages a tapped hole 20 in the bridge piece and co-operates with a thrust member 18 to tension the cable. Nipples 12 on the ends of the cable engage correspondingly shaped notches in the bridge piece.
