Abstract

774,011. Pickers for looms. KNUTSSON, S. Oct. 21, 1954 [Oct. 27, 1953], No. 30328/ 54. Class 142 (2). A picker is made of nylon and has an elastic insert 3 which is of rubber or a plastic. The insert may be of round, triangular, square, or rectangular form. The picker may have a projection thereon forming a guide for the picker. The insert may rest on shoulders in the recess in the body of the picker so that a cushion of air is provided beneath the insert. A recess may be provided in each end of the picker so that the picker can be reversed, a picker on a left-hand loom being reversed and transferred to a right-hand loom.
