635,688. Belting fabric. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and LORD, W. June 21, 1946, No. 18663. Drawings to Specification. [Class 142 (iv)] A belting fabric made of cotton, rayon, nylon, asbestos or wire has, at regular intervals, fastener holding zones comprising two or more consecutive sheds containing a greater weight of weft than the fabric between the zones. Each shed may contain two or more picks of the weft used in the rest of the fabric, or of thicker weft, or one heavy pick and two fine ones. Full-cross leno shedding may be employed at the fastener holding zones.
