[Also in Group VII] In a one-way stretchable woven fabric 28, spaced protuberances 29 are formed on one face by weaving into the fabric a number of threads of material having a high coefficient of friction. These threads may be of bare rubber or may be coated with rubber or plastics. The protuberances are arranged in staggered relationship in spaced pairs of rows.
