Abstract
736,071. Electromagnetic switches. COX, F. B. Oct. 22, 1951 [Oct. 21, 1950], No. 25698/50. Class 38 (5). In an electromagnetic contactor, de-energization of the electromagnet 27 releases the armature 28 which moves some distance before it strikes the contact arm 41, which has been frictionally held in engagement with the spring- biased contact 42, and moves it into the open position. Resetting is effected by an arm 43 fixed to the armature, when the magnet 27 is re-energized.
