Abstract

In a modification of the alloys of the parent Specification the proportion of Cr is raised and is within the range 16-25 per cent, the ranges of proportions of the other constituents remaining unchanged. The heat treatment, forging and tempering treatments used according to the parent Specification may be used with these higher proportions of Cr. The Provisional Specification describes also alloys containing 15-25 per cent Cr but otherwise of the same composition.
