732,626. Knitting-machines. KORMA MILLS, Ltd. Sept. 2, 1953 [Sept. 11, 1952], No. 24277/53. Class 74 (2). A knitting-machine has wrap or other yarns from bobbins passing through holes in a resiliently mounted plate 12 so that in the event of a slub or other irregularity occurring in a yarn the plate is moved downwardly against spring action to engage an electrical contact 9 and thereby stop the machine. In a machine knitting a single yarn the plate may have a single yarn receiving hole.
