Abstract
569,757. Knitting-machines. REHAK, K. Sept. 14, 1943, No. 15042. [Class 74 (ii)] A warp knitting- machine is provided with a stop-motion comprising a series of spring fingers 5 extending the width of the fabric and carried by the sinker bar 2 so as to be pressed against the fabric passing to the back of the needle bed 11. If a fault has occurred, one or more fingers can engage the needle bed and close an electric circuit to bring about stoppage of the machine. The fingers 5 are brought into contact with the fabric each time the sinker bar 2 is moved towards the needle bed. The fingers may be formed by dividing one edge of a spring plate.
